1. How much load can I use with my solar power system & what is the cost ?

4. Do I get power when sunlight is not available? Yes, If connected to grid through net metering or if having battery backup.

5. Is there any possibility for electrical accident? It is safe with proper protection. For more details refer to Product information.

6. Can I use both solar and electric power at a time? Yes, you can use both supplies by duly segregating loads or through net metering.

7. What are the available capacities and respective cost?

  • a) 400 Watts - Rs.0.88 Lakhs
  • b) 1000 Watts - Rs.2.2 Lakhs
  • c) 2000 watts - Rs.4.4 Lakhs
  • d) 4000 Watts - Rs.8.8 Lakhs
  • e) 5000 Watts - Rs.11 Lakhs

8. What is the life of the units? Standard quality panels can work for 20-25 years (approximately)

9. Do I require any permission if I want to use the electricity generated entirely without exporting? No permission required.

10. I want to export the surplus units. What should I do? Through net metering. For further information visit our website www.apeasternpower.com under the caption "Solar Power Generation Net Metering"

11. At what rate will I be paid for the exported units? Approximately Rs.3.50/unit. However, the rate is yet to be finalised.

12. Can I start with a smaller capacity and expand at a later date? Yes.
